Research Interests:

Broadly concerned with rheology and non-Newtonian fluid mechanics as they relate to polymer processing, including droplet behavior in blends of nematic liquid crystalline polymers dispersed in flexible thermoplastic matrices, extrusion instabilities, and polymer/nonpolymer interactions and apparent wall slip at high stresses.
